Hi there
I am really happy to be a new member of this awsome site.I am really looking forward to some new ideas ,with members who share with me one important thing -we love our garage.A couple of weeks ago I read a thread about a member who moved into his house and struck a deal with his wife - she can rule the house but the garage was his turf.I suppose most of us are in that boat.In my case she got the better deal.I can't afford to just tear it down and just get a new one built .So I am really tring to make something out of nothing here. The garage is A 23x21 flat roof with a 10 foot ceiling. It was just meant as a shelter for the vehicles of the previous owner, the floor is interlocking patio stones(brick type).A beam down the center of the garage with two teleposts supporting it.I have insulated it and installed benches at the end of the garage.I can't afford to pour a concrete floor yet.I have also installed a wall vent /fan, and have challenges with mold on the concrete footings even though they are painted with a epoxy-anti-mold paint.Until I get concrete poured in there one day I'll always have moisture problems I guess.Anyway this is a great site with a ton of knowledgable members,i'm happy to be a part of it.:OH ya I forgot to add that I have a 1971 nova & 1979 skylark ...
