Welcome to the group. Can you expand on the reason for your shop. Woodworking. metal work, crafts, vehicle repair, restoration of stuff? To many reasons for the shop for us to guess what the final goal might be. If you can, give us a resume of your skills and desired path forward.

Your approximate location will enable us to have some practicali in our responses
If you are in Louisiana you probably will not be building an Ice Fishing Shelter.
Some Workshops are as small as a Kitchen Table an evening or two a week. Others are as large as a barn or hangar.
All are welcome here.
