Kennedy T-22

[Modern Garage]

I was skulking around a pawn shop when I found this Kennedy T-22 cantilever box. It's in good shape (especially for what I paid) with no dents and original paint, and judging by the cork lining in the trays, was originally meant to be a tackle box?
As far I know Kennedy doesn't date code their boxes so can anyone give me a good guess as to the age of this beauty?

I know they did make a tackle box. Ran into a couple like this and they had a plastic inside.

I like the Kennedy boxes, I have a few different ones. Last one I found was a cantilever hip-roof, opening box, but I paid a whopping 33% MORE than you did. http://buykennedy.com/product/1022/

They are good for sorting small numbers of parts, especially if you need to have access to them in a remote location. What is your intended use?

As a homebrewer I'd been looking for a box long enough to store my siphons and thermometers safely and with organizing room for airlock bits, yeast nutrients, etc. all in one place.
Haven't had time to test fit anything yet so we'll see. I may still be too small and should probably use a tool cabinet w/drawers, but I was hoping for portability.
I wondered if there was any change from time to time of the labels and stickers that would give an idea of age. It's just fun to know. I checked the dates on my Snap-On tools for fun but I still use them every day to make a living. Maybe that would change if I had one older than I am. :>

Naa, I have many older than me (66) and I use them every day.

Yeah, you're right Elidas, I picked up a brake drum puller (used for removing rear drum from the tapered axle on early Rambler, Jeep, etc.) at a vintage swap meet because I thought it would work well for pressing out stuck driveshafts on FWD cars (and it does) and it's considerably older than I am.
Well... maybe not considerably. I don't have much non-gray hair left.
