I am trying to finish the wiring on the bonus room over my garage. I plan on having a full kitchen and am wondering about all of the separate runs I am doing. After reading several wiring books and code requirements I have become a little confused
So far I have 4 separate 12-2 circuits running to the kitchen (not counting lights), but think I need more. I have the following plan so far;
1 for the refrigerator
1 for the microwave
2 for the counter outlets
6-3 running to the stove
I also plan on having a dishwasher and disposal. Can I branch off of any of the above circuits for these two items or should I run another feed from the main panel. I have a 200 amp main in the garage on its own meter so room in the box is not an issue. I am just trying to keep the attic runs to a minimum. If there is any risk of overload then running another wire or two is not a problem, just looking for some advice.........
