Knipex 30" Bolt Cutters $107

Had my eye on these large Knipex bolt cutters for a while. This is the lowest I've seen the 30" drop to.

According to camelcamelcamel it's been this price for a while, but this is less then the 24" and $90 less then the 36".

I have a bunch of Knipex stuff that I got on clearance. Those bolt cutters are nice but I've cut well over 100 locks and chains over my years on patrol, and my old chepo Harbor Freight bolt cutters work great, I have 36" and smaller ones for under 30 bucks for both. I love Knipex but 107 bucks isn't chicken scratch. the cheep Chinese ones work fine, give them a try.

elronin - thanks for the real world feedback. That's what is great about these forums. I know Knipex makes very good tools, but for something that will only be used once in awhile, its good to know about an alternative.
