l have this Craftsman mic., nice mic, never thought about the maker though,
just saw a B&S on the classifieds for sale, has to be it.
its a dead ringer.
Here is the craftsman. The First TWO
don't know if I should post the B&S pictures here, but you can see them in the classifieds.

The knurling on the barrel isn't the same either. Not saying B&S didn't make mics for other companies, (I admittedly am rather ignorant) but there are enough differences between these 2 that I wouldn't call them the same.

I can't answer your question. However, after comparing the two sets of pictures, I can honestly say that I don't see anything identical between the two. Certainly not a "dead ringer" in my opinion. Sorry I don't have more info for you.

I'd throw Miller Falls tools in the pool of guesses. They made measuring tools under contract for Craftsman also.

It's not a MF mic. Their frames are a tad different, I don't think I've ever seen a MF mic wearing satin chrome, lock knob is wrong.
