I'll buy another set and return them with my old receipt.

I'm with you on that one. I in NO way had the money to burn on those and the 1/2" drive deep metric set tonight. But I did, and will use the hell out of them.

I bought the 1/2 sae&metric set friday and thats when I noticed tose and had to restrain myself. Ive had a good couple days of restraint so tine to reward myself :lol

Yep, my store had at least 3 of these displays, two near the front entrance, one near the tool section. They were also on the pegboard in the tool section.

For $15 I bought a set of each. I doubt I would have at the old $35 price. They dont seem as nice as the GearWrench set I have in 1/4 drive but it's hard to compare those directly. I've never seen the GW 3/8 set.

I would have preferred these be 6 point. It's funny that the Lowes site picture shows 6 point sockets.

Good catch. I got the last two sets at my store and they're 12 pt. I didn't notice the ad showed them in 6 pt.... still, I can't complain.
