Hello guys (and gals.....)

I've been lurking here for a short while, picking up a few tips. (thank you...)

I'm an independent auto collision damage appraiser living in Springfield, Oregon now for 2 years afte residing in Orange, California from 1981 to 2009. Grew up on the west side of LA.

Wife, one daughter and I have settled into your normal 3 +2 house, attached 2-car, which is a bit on the small side. Drywall on the walls and ceiling. I've just recently installed a drop-down attic stairway to access the rafter area of the garage - going to put mostly light stuff up there, the bulk of it being Christmas decorations. Putting some spacers on top the the joists to get past the wiring that's laying across them, then covering the usable area with 5/8ths CDX. Total area will probably be 70 square feet.

Next project: Work bench.........My goal is to have a usable garage for projects and still be able to get 2 cars into it at night. Right now, I'm only getting one.

BTW, I've already put up some links to a couple of garage projects on another site I'm active in......anybody like Station Wagons?

Thanx for having me...

Great station wagon site. My dad would buy the weirdest station wagons he could find. We had a 59 Rambler, black with red guts interior. I thought it was cool. Also a 64 Plymouth with push button transmission. Nice to have a station wagon nut on board.

We've certainly got some cool rides over there. For instance:
- 1972 Buick Estate Wagon, being converted into a 2-door HARDTOP wagon
- 1967 Ford Country Squire getting a full, frame-off complete rebuild / restoration
- AMC Pacer wagon......with a 500 c.i. Caddy V8
- Lots of GM B-bodies from '91-'96
- Lots for Ford Fox-body wagons, etc...
