Hello all,
I have recently moved our operation into an 8500sf set of spaces with 1000sf of offices(2) and 2500sf of outdoor paved area on two sides. The space is broken into three areas and has four roll up doors.
I am interested in getting the forums opinion on the best way to set the shop up for what I am looking to do.
I intend on setting up my foundry outside and want the primary area to be a rough fabrication shop/rapid mobilization area and the other units to be a machine shop/pattern shop.
I would imagine there is enough wisdom on this forum to help me build my fantasy factory and would love the input.
Below are some sketchup drawings I did of the shop before we moved into it. The drawing is of unit 8 and 9 and we also got unit 6 and 7 which wrap from the rollup door around to the box van. I wanted to put a gantry or lift in the corner but once we moved in, things have devolved into an incredibly disorganized mess. I need help in making this place the best use of space that it could be. Any help would be appreciated.
