LED rope light in 4' fixture?

I was looking at Led rope/strip lighting on amazon and wondered if anyone has tried it in a 4' or 8' fixture? Wonder how much strip you would need?

That's how 4' x 1' DIY grade Lithonia LED fixtures are built. They only use two strips.
