Let's try this again

We have just recently moved to make life easier for all of us. We only moved about ten minutes from where we were, but it gets the kids on the bus route and saves a bunch of driving over a week. The only problem is, I had to give up the garage that I finally built a few years ago that I had always wanted. The good news is, I've just poured the pad yesterday for the new garage, but it's less than half the size of the old one I built a few years ago.
The nice thing is, I have the best wife in the world for me. She tried to talk me into going even bigger on the old garage, and when our old house sold, told me that if I got my **** in gear, we could break ground for the new garage very shortly after we moved in. It was my choice to only go 32X28X12' this time. I can always add on later if I find I need more room. Two reasons I thought I could live with a lot less garage this time is because the new house has a two car garage attached that I have already fit three cars in, and it has a 13X15 shed that will hold all the yard junk, four wheelers, etc. The old house only had a one car attached, and it was so small that we had a tough time fitting her Corolla in there.
Here's a few pics of the old garage. It's ugly as hell, but it was pretty big to me. It's 32X60X18' high. I started it in the fall of '08 and finally closed in the end walls in Jan. of '09. I went 18' high on it because I planned on putting a second floor in it for the back 20 or 24'.

Here's a few pics of the progress so far on the new one. It's going to be a stick building, and unfortunately will look just like any other garage except a little taller. I was originally planning to do radiant heating in the floor, but changed my mind and decided to heat the two car garage attached to the house instead. It makes a lot more sense for everything except when I need to weld.

Hey steel and ZR, I guess I must have been thinking with the wrong head.
Hey lam, that's a beautiful car. Are those Lancer rims on it? Unfortunately the red one in the pic isn't mine-it's just here for some paint work. My daughter's name is Shelby, and she'd like to have the car. It looks like I may be in the market for one shortly. I definitely can't afford to buy her a Shelby Mustang.
I forgot to mention that the shop will be mostly run on solar power. I have most of what I need.

32x28 is still a nice sized garage.

Wheels are 16" pumpers off an '89 Daytona Shelby. I have aftermarket 17" wheels on it now.

both times it has been the bank account and credit that has decided the size-it was either the 28X32 or wait until next year to build
my garage before the steel building was my first and I built it as well-it was 14X24 and I painted a pile of cars and did a pile of work in there
all the materials and 4 guys arrived before noon, and we got the front and back wall built, ready to lift first thing tomorrow morning
