I was wondering if you could give the spacing distances for your Lithonia HD sku #433180. I think your garage was something like 30' wide by 50' long.

I bought 2 of the Lithonia lights you detailed. I really like them. One is already up, look good!! I will be buying more. Thanks for your help!!

In one of your pictures it looks like each row is spaced differently. What hints can you provide at being able to hit the trusses with the screws?

Thanks!!

Doug

The lights are spaced out, based on the suggestion of my electrician. He actually marked the spaces to mount them. This was new construction and having the outlets put in the ceiling pretty much marked where there were some of the trusses as they nailed the boxes into the truss. Other than that it was just measing every so many inches to find the other just like in finding studs in a wall.

My garage is 50x30

Can someone else on here suggest how many inches eash truss is from the other? I forgot what he told me.........Pretty much did a row of lights across the 30 feet width. Then the next row of lights were mounted (inbetween) the previous row so they are NOT all lined up in the same row. These pictures might show what I am trying to explain.

Joist to joist boxes look like 3x24" on center or 6'. Can't speak to the other way, but it looks about the same. That puts the outside to outside at 6' plus 2x 1/2 of the width of the fixture (15.38). Or, 7.28' :)
