Hi all. I haven't been on here in some time. Tried some searching and didn't have any luck.
I have a older Lincoln 300 300 tig. I'm having problem with the amptrol. I took it apart and the little gear that rotates the shaft on the rheostat has come loose and is in 2 pieces now. Not sure if it made that way or not. I did glue it back on and have it working now but not sure how long it will last.
My question is if there is a replacement for this 5 pin amptrol? I see many on amazon that are 5 wire and not sure and see they have the 2 wire for the on and off and the 3 wire for the ramp up and ramp down. Is there a resistant range that it needs to be in to work with my welder or is this a universal thing?
Thanks for any input or direction to send me.

Thanks James.

Can't help on whether there's another pedal that would work.

However McMaster-Carr has a big selection of gears, and it's likely you could find a stock gear with the right number of teeth and diameter to put on your pedal
