Little runaway cave proj. from Lithuania

Hello,

finally decided to show you my low budget 2 car garage project.
I don't have enough $ to build my own, so found one for rent (a big problem to find in our city).

That's how it looked when I firstly got keys - shabby with wet walls (it's underground):

Old joist for engine lift:

Creepy pit for undercar repairs:

So started to remake it for my needs...
Draft walls of small dustfree room for clean things to put

Waterproof paint on - looks better now:

Yeah put some lights down in it and it wouldn't be so creepy. Or at least a drop light so you can pull it down there under your car. It would also act as a light for the space when you don't need it.

Good potential for repairs with that pit. Just remember that gasoline fumes hang low and can accumulate in a pit. Be careful!

Gonna be a nice place!!! You do need a few more studs in the wall that you are framing though just to beef it up a little.

Yes I'm thinking about lights right now. Maybe you know a software to calculate illumination?
About gasoline fumes - there used to be a forced ventilation in that pit, but now it needs total rebuild of course, will try to make it work before starting car repairs.
Wall framing will be tuned later, now its just a draft, made from everything that got to hand... I'm not going to make it super stiff and permanent, but at least functional, its just a rent place anyway.

Little more update:

my pit became more lighter, but still needs repaint and I still dont know what to do with floor...

A little more wiring...

Moved in to start working with my projects on weekends

That paint made a huge difference. I'd paint the walls in the pit white also to help brighten it up .
