I have to replace two breakers in my building. They are Siemens E series Type 1. Lowes naturally does not have them and I cannot find them online. The panel box is ~15 years old. Is this an odd type or is there another one that will work in its place? They are 20 amp single pole.

Thanks

Coach

try a local electrical supply house, around here we have Cresent, Miller, Universal, and Republic, but dunno if they are regional or national.

Also check with some of the larger Electrical contractor's in your area, they would probably have a few on the shelf in their warehouse and might be willing to sell ya one or two.

I know the shop i work at has a huge selection of random breakers.

do you have a photo by chance? Do you have the actual p/n from the breaker you need to replace?

generally speaking it is not recommended to purchase 'refurbished' molded case breakers since they cannot be opened, it costs more than theyre worth to test them, and their history is unknown. How do you know they werent outside in the rain and all rusted inside? I would only use NOS, or a listed replacement.
