I'm not sure if what I'm looking for exists and may not be using proper terminology in the thread title.
I'm looking for a 3-5" extension that is also an adapter from 3/8" female to 1/2" male drive.
A 3-5" long version of this:

I don't really care about the brand as long as it's impact rated.
HF offers a set of the opposite of what I'm looking for, theirs goes from 1/2" female to 3/8" male.

This is for flip socket I keep in the tool box of trailer along with a 3/8 M12 stubby impact incase I have a flat. The flip socket is 1/2" drive, have not seen any flip sockets that are 3/8" drive. The impact has enough umph to pull lug nuts on both trailer and truck and the flip socket has both sizes I need.
Yeah, I can buy two individual 3/8" sockets for the lug nuts or use an adapter and then an extension for the flip socket which I have in there now but if I can find combo adapter/extension I would rather go that route, trying to reduce down the minimum number of pieces as possible.

Never seen one but if someone posts one I’ll prob buy it, thanks for spending my money

honestly for what your describing see if you can get the lug nut socket in 3/8 drive, Tekton makes impact sockets up to 24mm and then just use a 3/8 extension
they won’t be flip sockets but just carry two sockets

unless someone posts a long adapter which I doubt exists you got options

buy the 1/2 gen 2 m12 impact or swap anvils on your 3/8 if you already got one
then can run 1/2 flip sockets with the 1/2 extension

run 3/8 with an adapter and separate extension and flip socket

run 3/8 with 3/8 extension and two separate 3/8 sockets

This is 6 inches with ball detent (per the notes)

This is 4 inches, but with a PIN detent (probably won't work for the application)

You could try something like this with a regular 1/2 in drive extension.

Get one of those and epoxy it to a regular 1/2 drive extension maybe? Shouldn’t be weak due to the epoxy since the two pieces aren’t doing much work on each other just keeping them together from falling apart

This is exactly what I'm looking for. One of your links has catalog page shows there is pin detent and ball listings for the different lengths. I would prefer ball detent given the option. I found the 3" ball detent available individual. The 4" listings I found was requiring case qty so I ordered a ball detent 3" version to give it a try.
Thanks
