Losing markup and link/picture posting

Using Chrome for android. I somewhat regularly lose the ability to utilize markup (bolt, italics) and inline posting of links and picture. Clearing cookies squares it away, but it's annoying having to log back into everything. Anyone else having this occur?

This is before (icons are all Grey and can't be selected

And after clearing cookies and cache (icons are beige/brown and are selectable)

There's something that you are clicking on. I forget which one it is but I have done it myself.

It's on the right side, I think the page w/ folded corner & magnifying glass icon. Sorry, no idea what it's called.

Next time it happens, click on it again.

I thought that was the case, but it doesn't appear to be it for me. That icon changes it to some type of a preview which stops editing all together, but I can still type out posts with this problem. I just tried it on this post to confirm

@Ryan it's happening now. Before I do my normal cookie clearing, I wanted to mention in case you can see anything.

I can't click on any of the markup icons except the preview one at the right

@Ryan Nevermind, I figured it out. If I click on the three dots next to the undo, there are a pair of hard brackets that seem to toggle markup on and off. No idea how I have been doing that as I never click in there, but either way, that's the issue.

Moving on...There is nothing to see here...
