Hello all, my 1st day on the forum, here. I'm 70 years young going on 21. I love to ride motorcycles and my Harley FXR and my wife decided she wants her own bike/trike.
I just bought a Buffalo Tools Pro 160 (55 to 160 amp) stick. This jewel has input wire of 14 g. I am planning to run 10/3 from 40 amp breaker inside home to garage welding area 60 feet away to connect to the 14 awg.
I am building a V6 trike from a 82 S10. Chopped and rewelded the drive tube to one foot long and shortened the frame accordingly. I am using the leaf spring layers to reinforce the frame where the axle fits into the frame., 1/4" steel to 3/16" frame, before I buy the 10 awg 3wire, can I get some high fives on a good choice of awg and setup or does someone want to dampen my spirits with a thumbs down?!.
