M18 2630-20 circular saw

My needs for it are an occasional sheet of plywood or two cut up, or maybe triming the bottom of a door now and then. will this do what I need or should should I go with a plan b?

Yes that is a Great saw, at work we have replaced most of our corded worm drives with these. They have been flawless so far with either the 4.0 or 5.0 amp batteries. haven't been in heavy framing but millwork install's , plywood , quick cut's . I also own the FUEL version which is awesome

Ive got the 4.0 batteries , my next stupid question would all 6.5 blades be compatible?

yes all 6.5'' blades will work, although I prefer DIABLO blades in all my saw's.
