M18 Fuel sawzall

Hey guys. I've owned my sawzall a few weeks now, and just noticed today that it has a 5.0 battery in it. I thought it was a 4.0 that came with the kit. Is this something new or did I get lucky?

Yup, you got the all new 5.0 ah batteries that they just released. Enjoy!

Yea the newer kits come with the bigger batteries.. I believe it has a big "5.0" printed on the side (cough).. Lol

Lol yup. I was charging it today for the second time and when I took it off and put it next to my 2.0 I had previously charged, I did a double take. Shows how observant I am. Funny thing is, I was going to buy a 5.0 because cutting apart 4 pallets kills two bars. I'll wait for the 9.0, the 5.0 can go to my drill and the two 2.0 can stay with my 3/8 impact

I have almost exclusively 4.0 batteries of probably 15 batteries i might have 2 xc's. I'm sure there is a slight difference but not enough for me to buy another 140 dollar battery. I do think i'll try the 9.0 though, and to me the 2.0's are an utter waste of time

The 9.0 looks huge, I may do a 6.0. Our maybe the 9.0 for my sawzall
