General location my help someone recommend a "GOOD" locksmith.
An old timer locksmith would be able to make you a replacement key no problem that you will swear was the original.
I bought a vehicle without a key from local garage. I wanted it for the engine, came with no title or key. They said it had been there three years, they fixed it, guy came to pick it up, told him the total price and he said "I'll be back with the money", that was three years prior and they hadn't seen him since but knew he had been evicted from where he lived because their registered letters had gotten returned. They sold it to me for scrap price with no keys, no title, but did give me bill of sale, offered to do mechanics lean to get a title but price would double because of the hassle. I didnt want a title that bad but I did want a key to make easier to move around. I was able to get ignition switch off of the column with a set of stripped head bolt extractors (bolts were dome head, nothing to grab to otherwise). Took ignition switch to local old school locksmith, he said he would work on it as he had time then he called me two days later and said that he had it ready. I told him to make an extra key while he had it.......total cost $25 for the two keys.
Quick search shows Mac has used both 5 pin cylinder and barrel lock assemblies.
If your toolbox is a simple 5 pin cylinder someone good like my guy should be able to do it onsite in short time.
Another alternative is find someone with a key "collection" like me. I have at least a couple thousand various keys. If ever I'm at junk yard and see keys in a car, I take them all but the key that fits the vehicle in case someone ends up wanting a door lock or ignition switch. I've had friends want a key to a camper top, filing cabinet, or desk before that they bought second hand , I'll take over my "collection" that I have separated by key type on shower curtain rings and in four cases I've had a key that opened/locked what they had.
