Look at McMaster Carr.
I think the Rivnut USA tools are US made.
I was looking at the C6000/7000 tools. They look just like the US made ones I used for years at a friend's shop.Their premium offering is the Marson. Made in Taiwan. Their standard model is a very commonly rebranded model made in China.
Their "Bohloff 140-2000" is a rebranded Sherex DLHT.
Me too. If you have the space this is the way to go. If not ASTRO makes about 50 Rivnut tools all with an excellent guarantee and superb customer service.I love the Astro drill adapter.

We had one of those at work. It sank 2, literally two fasteners before it broke. Here is a tool I found made in USA, enfasco blind nut installation tool don't know if this is what you are looking for though.
thats the unit that broke in the video i linked earlier. though that might be WHY it broke. i might get the vevor and that astro pneumatic, at the astro isn't $500 but it is $200I bought the Astro Pneumatic 1450 set and have used it several years. Spare parts are readily available at Amazon and Summit. I'm very happy with mine. Just remember when setting size #10 screws and other small diameters, this is not a pop rivet gun. Just pull them up snug.

They don't exist in plier form only pneumaticVevor or Astro?
what happened to USA made??
Remember, the fastener will pull them up tight if you leave them a little short.Do any of these provide instructions on how tight to pull them? The instructions 8 have read say pull them until they "are right", but don't really say what that is. I've not had any rivnuts fail but it always seems like maybe I'm over doing it
Sure they do, you just gotta pony up
I own both the FSi and a Marson, both USA
but like I said earlier, don't worry about Coo, my HF lopper style has been great

But they might spin if not tight enough. The nice thing, though, is if they do spin you can tighten them some more.Remember, the fastener will pull them up tight if you leave them a little short.
Yes, you definitely have to develop a feel for it.But they might spin if not tight enough. The nice thing, though, is if they do spin you can tighten them some more.
Yeah, I tend to over do it sometimes and the nut deforms a bit. I then run a tap or a rethread through to fix it.Yes, you definitely have to develop a feel for it.
