Hey there guys, first post on here but lots of great information on the boards and have been a great help so far. This is my first home/garage and I like being able to figure things out for myself rather than pay for everything to be done. I think most on here take the same pride in that.
My question is......The garage I have has 2 wall sconces/lights on the walls. They are high enough to where I'd like to put a small TV set and run a power wire to the wall sconce. I know that I can get those bulb socket to 2 prong plugs, but I'd rather wire in a regular 3 prong outlet. I removed the wall sconce and it's a round box in the wall. Is there any way to fit a rectangle box in there? I looked at home depot but couldn't find anything that looked like what I needed. The hole is round, so knocking out the round box and putting in a square box I can do, I was just thinking it'd be easier to fit a wall socket in there.
