earlier today -B- had a post in the "thread S-K users here?". he mentioned that sk pro ratchets used to be called "man ratchets" i know we all have pet names for our favorite tool. and don't say johnson, wrong kind of tool. one i can think of is "big dawg" proto ratchets. there must be others. let's hear them

Well when I was a kid, I seem to recall the old man working on anything, him calling every tool "Gdamn mudderfocker" but maybe I misinterpreted that...

I have the "Good stuff" that I call my working tools, and the "neat stuff" that I call the collecting tools. Then there is the "**** tools" that I have in the road box.

There is one old Williams Superrench that I remember calling "The Monster" when I was a kid. Its a 1" x 1/18" off set box 848360. It is real long, and to a kid of 9, it was one big ole wrench!

I have a 48" crescent wrench a friend/employee used to call the "BMF wrench" (Big, Mother,F____). It was used by me a lot 10 years ago. Now it stands in a corner of my garage behind a shelf collecting dust.
