I have a Matco MB-1210 that is in need of a restoration. It is the top box. I want to make sure it is worth putting the money into it before I start though. It is going to need new drawer slides that will cost about $200 total and a paint job. Im not sure how much the paint job will cost but I am thinking about having it powder coated. Is that the best paint option? How much do you think this box is worth once it is fully restored? And do y'all have any tips on the restoration process? Thank you.

Are you keeping it or flipping it? Let's know all the facts.

I bought it a year ago for only $100 to keep but i have bough another tool box already so depending on how this one turns out i may keep it or I might sell it. I have not decided

What box did you buy after that one? If it's same about the size/specs or bigger and you really don't need another that big, sell it for $200 or something. Make a buck off it without dealing with any of that other stuff.

I just bought a craftsman box. I think it would be neat to restore this box but was just wanting to see if anyone had a ball park number on what it's worth.
