Im gifting my mechanic lil brother a set of wrenches....matco SRFBZLM102TA. they are double box flex ratcheting spline style. He says he uses this set at work everyday....he says they grip 6 and 12 point and torx just like they claim....well the gearwrench set 86126 looks very similar(and about $180) and probably made by the same company Koba(so i hear)....Just wondering about the gearwrench warranty....i know they will have to be mailed in but will it be readily replaced if broken....Also if anyone has used them are the sets that much different....last thing is im slightly weary of matco warranty replacements because of the problems they have with back ordered(dont have a current source of production) items.....if snap on carried this product(do they?? i dont think so) i probably would have got it already. Thank u in advance for any advice

They are not the same wrenches. The Gearwrench version is NOT made by Kabo. I can't think of anything branded Gearwrench that's made by Kabo.
I actually like the Gearwrench version of these wrenches more as the beams are thicker and the ratcheting action is crisper. However, that's just me. Although I think every company has warranty service glitches, overall I think Gearwrench does a good job. Not buying from a local dealer means mailing tools in though.
