Ok Guys here is my thoughts, I have been fighting with myself to buy a Hoist I have Nine foot ceiling Flat, So my choices are: Max Jax,Scissor lift , of going to a fluch mount Scissor lift all have there own draw backs, Honestly If the max Jax Lifted a few more inches it would be a easy choice, also I will be putting alot of differant cars/trucks up on the lift (which one?)and Feel that being safe is the most important thing,Now I have a 4 year old garage that I built but farmed out the concret not raelly sure of the depth or the PSi raing but not really a problem as my brother is in the business of concret and can do a sample and fix up anything that needs to be done. However I was thinking that for some extra piece of mind and **** what if a person was to get a 1/2 piese of sheet steel and mount the Max jax to that (maybe even weld it to it) I know some right away is going to say , but then its not portable , I know but for some of use thats not the issue I was just thinking that if it was bolted/welded to a 12ft by 6 ft sheet steel you could bolt the **** out of it and its not going anywhere Period. Whats your thoughts on this?
