new to this . just brought a new maxicom mk900bt unit and have not even taken it out for a run yet. question is. i can get a maxisys ms906bt attachment's less tablet from a buddy cheap. will it e worth it and could it be used with my unit?

Are you talking about the non-OBDII adapters? Not much use if you're not working on something pre-1996.
