My guess it may have been see as post boosting. Until I look I have no other answer.
EDIT: I see multiple posts with the same response have been removed. Never a wise thing to do on this forum. Many take offense. No one likes to see the same post reply every time they check a subscribed link as it is often seen as post whoring or post boosting.

I also had several posts removed from several peoples threads where I wished them Merry Christmas, as well as a picture I put on my own thread today.

Post boosting? Really, I’ve been a member 8 years and never worried about my post numbers. I’ve learned a lot here, just don’t post much. I only posted to what I follow, Merry Christmas

Look at it another way as you open the page all you see is a response to every topic by the same poster. Those that susbscribe to topics also open them to see the same reply posted in every topic. I have not removed these posts and I can see many others have had similar posts removed as well.
Some times instead of posting in every topic perhaps a PM to the person that has posted a topic you follow may go over much better. It is a little more personal than the same post in so many topics.
As a Moderator I have had complaints in the past about similar posts from those original topic posters and in the past I have made the same suggestion to those posting these sort of replies that a PM often goes over much better.
No one here has made a mistake and all the Mods are doing is what we have been asked to do. So in this case I can see posts have been removed and can see why so just offer my suggestions as to other ways you can respond with what you have to say.
On another note one PM can be sent to multiple members.

In response to another post in this topic I have also checked and can see some posts may have been removed by mistake. I am checking and making sure that all has been set back as it should.

Question. The post I had made contained a pic. After going back on this post the picture is gone. The original pic is still in my GJ album. Why is it missing on my posting?

Just go edit your post and do it yourself. Why should a. Od have to go digging on this?
I deleted them as I saw them as post boosting or post whoring. As I went through New Posts like I always do, your posts are the ones I saw, you were not singled out I intentionally.
There are several Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday threads that are started every year and get merged together. Please use those to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
No two people will ever see eye to eye all the time. You say you're not worried about post counts but I see starting a thread to complain about them being gone as worried about it. If it had been a few posts, no problem but if I remember, it was about 45 posts.
It's also obvious from your post count that you haven't done it every year, so it's not a tradition type of posting for you.
Did you quote or edit the post to see if the link was still present ? I've had that happen, link there but neither pic or broken link doesn't appear. Couldn't tell you why it happens.
