When I put up my metal shop building I put 1" thick "agboard" between the wood framing and the metal skin. Agboard has an insulating core covered with aluminum foil on both sides. All seams between the agboard panels were closed with tape. In essence my building has an external, very tight vapor barrier.

You can see the walls and vaulted ceiling in this interior picture.

I am currently remodeling the building and adding a heat pump. I also plan on upgrading the insulation. The plan calls for sprayed open foam on the ceiling covered with white 29 gauge sheet metal. The walls will get conventional R-11 fiberglass bats covered with 7/16" OSB.

Should I use faced or unfaced bats in the walls? Will the ceiling have moisture migration problems with vapor barriers on both sides of the foam?
