Found one for sale looks pretty new but needs a Power Module and boards.
Price for bare machine is $250.00 no mig or tig guns.
His repair quote was $2700.00 I found a control board with IGBT replacement for $1500.00
I don't see a Power Module listed would that be included with IGBT? I currently have a 211 but would really like the Tig capability.

I know that is one of the drawbacks of a multipurpose machine part goes out everything quits.
Just a home gamer so light use. Is this a repair I could preform myself is this even worth pursuing?
Looking at the serial number it is about 5 years old.

I bought a new one for the field a year back and I only paid around $2,200.00. I wouldn’t chance it, you’re not saving anything.

Better recheck your price or model number. The Miller Multimatic 220 is an ac/dc capable machine and is being advertised at several online suppliers at around $4400.

the Multimatic 235 is dc only and runs a little north of $3000, based on a quick check.

If you want TiG capability, you can get into a new Miller Diversion 180 for about the same money as trying to repair that machine.

He said he bought one for the field so he probably bought a Multimatic 200.
