Father in law has a old, small trailer mounted 115v Miller welder. It runs off of a small horizontal shaft engine. Ser# HF830678 if I wrote it down right. Most of the lettering on the face plate has faded away so a serial number is the best I can do at this point.
Anyway he says that it will not weld on start up. One has to let the engine run for about 5 minutes or so then some sound will change and then you can weld. Couldn't understand if it was a click or a change in rpms on the engine. I think it's in the welder half. There were too many Indians on the warpath (grandkids) running around during the conversation to get it all straight.
So with that little bit of information can someone point me in the right direction to start firing the parts cannon.
