How do y'all have your dro moved to your milling machine?
I've had a dro on my Bridgeport clone since I bought it. The mitutoyo that was on it used real buttons that were pretty easy to push. I upgraded to a new one that uses tactile "buttons" under the overlay. These are much harder to press so I have to grip the body of the dro as I'm pressing them to keep it from being pushed away. The arm is mounted to swings freely, which was fine before. There are times when I do want to move it, like to get a better viewing angle when working from the side, but that's not frequent. So I think I want it to be fairly rigid but easy to move when I need to.
