im ordering the 5/6" version, i have a ryobi 4.5" ... anyone know if milwaukee makes a red plastic case for this? im looking online and cant find one anywhere

**edit** milwaukee does offer a case but i dont believe it fits the 5/6" model #48-55-0886

I guess it depends how you use it. For me, I'd prefer something smaller in length - always seems to be in a tight spot, working it underside, etc...

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Milwaukee power tools are made in China. I currently have one and the COO is soooo small on the ID plate that you need a magnifying glass to read it.

Got my 5"/6" today. COO is "Professionally manufactured by Milwaukee Tool Company in China"...

Nonetheless, its a darn nice grinder. 12A motor, very powerful, a nice adjustable guard (both 5" and 6" guards provided), and an overmolded side grip.

The long rear handle is definitely LONG. It won't be much use in tight situation, but perfect for flat polishing or grinding. I imagine I'll be leaving a PSA sanding pad or flap discs on it most of the time.

Thanks again to the OP, I got mine and looks good. I put a tigerpaw disk on this one and will keep a cutting disk on my B&D one.

Glad to hear those that ordered are happy with the purchase. About four months ago I bought a Milw. grinder from another of their emails. It wasn't a rat tail but didn't have that little slide switch that I hate either. I checked mine today and it's PRC as well. I think I paid $89 at the time. It's serving me well.
