Milwaukee M12 battery contact failure

I have four M12 batteries that have done the job for some time. The fitment into the various tools I have is mediocre at best.
I have one battery that has the negative terminal bent out of place down in the plastic recess. Can't charge or use it. Bent it back but one of the tools must be the cause. Now the terminal is broken and battery is useless. I don't see anything obviously wrong with the male terminals on the tools

Anyone else delt with this? Solution?

I'm not a return it to get something free type. They are only $25 or so.

Sounds like this is not a common issue and may just be the one battery.

Not sure I want any more Milwaukee tools. My experience with Dewalt products has been better.
