mini-split condensate drain - keeping bugs out

I have a mini-split where the condensate drains outside via a flexible plastic tube. I keep thinking that bugs are likely to crawl up in there and get into the garage or plug it up.

What do people do to keep critters out of these drain lines?

Make a "TRAP" It will fill up with water and prevent bugs from coming in. Put a screen over the end of the pipe.
