Mini split lines - too collapsed?

I was bending my mini-split lines and one of them is partially collapsed. unbent OD =0.37 in. Partial collapse OD = 0.25in. Is this too much? Should I cut it off and reflare the cut end? I would need to order that tool. Any suggestions appreciated.

That ain't great, but if you have a pair of flat jaw pliers, you can probably just give it a little squeeze to make it more round.

I have been using a crescent wrench working it back and forth. Back to ~0.275 in now. A little better.

Yep, that's what I do sometimes. Works just fine.

It is so easy to flatten these lines. Some I have installed, if the lay-out allows, I strip the insulation off the tubing, put a spring bender on the pipe and shape sliding the bender along the line. Gives pristine shapes and concentric line sets. Slide the insulation back over the pipe and you are good. Well, as long as your flares are just right. Justin, what flaring tool do you use?

It is really great when a supplier has totally flattened tubing in an area covered by insulation, finding it after you run the line . Like what is so difficult in handling A/C tubing, especially with the profit they make ?

Adjustable wrench just start out loosely and turn it around the pipe then close it a little tighter.
