One of the many afflictions I seem to suffer from is the inability to carry a tool set just as it was purchased. Many years ago I inherited or acquired some tool sets that I decided would be a good basis for a computer desk tool kit, truck tool kit and side by side tool kit. But I just had to modify them:



I like the zippered tool cases because they are so easy to modify to add additional tools or replace the elastic strips when they fail. I like to use the double sided velcro to replace elastic, socket rails and bit holders that can be attached with snaps, and strips of leather to replace elastic.
