I have a Modine in a room adjacent to my garage that has done something new on me. I went out this morning to turn up the thermostat since it finally got down below freezing last night. I found the pilot light out and the fan running. I’ve cut the power to the unit and the fan continues to run. I can’t get the pilot to light either. I’m no HVAC guy but I’m usually pretty handy with some instruction. Any thoughts?

I've never had nor worked on a modine, so excuse my ignorance, but does it have a thermocouple?
Does have a thermocouple according to the manual I found and printed. I also found another thread on here where someone had the same problem. Fan blows but pilot/burner won't light. Seems there is a reset button on the top of the unit that should clear the problem. I'm going to give that a shot today. This thing is OLD but works great...when it's blowing warm air.

Thermocouples are super cheap. I'd replace that if it won't light.
You can check the voltage that the thermocouple is giving off but would need someone to hold the pilot lit and then check the gas valve end for voltage.

I cleaned the end of the thermocouple per the manual, re-lit the pilot and it seems to be working okay now. I shut it down after about an hour and then brought it back up. No issue. Thanks for they conversation!

I had a similar issue with mine. Go outside to the fan blowing and no heat. Even cleaning and replacing the pilot and thermocouple didnt help. My issue was the small ribbon burners that connected all the main tubes were clogged with rust. I took a small drill bit and cleaned them up. That was about a year ago.
What it was doing was lighting one main burner and gas would build up, then light and blow the one lit one and pilot out.
If you shut power off anf your fan is still on i bet your not shutting the power off
