I have a disability which is progressive, I added grab bars in the bathrooms of my home, in the master bathroom, I added just one. As I am in the midst of wallpaper removal and refinishing this bathroom I am going to add a bar to the other wall. As usual, the studs in the wall are not arranged on a manner that s helpful, so I will have to use wall anchors to secure the end that would be closest to the wall behind the toilet. Obviously a standard wall anchor isn't the best choice. My searching uncovered these that are intended for this purpose.

Has anybody used these? Any advice on installation? I'm going to use this type of grab bar as it will be helpful to me to get standing up, something to pull on.

I used those exact anchors to mount a grab rail in my father's shower. They probably weren't branded Moen but the same thing.

No real advice but they are impressive as a dry wall anchor goes. I believe I remember you used an 1 1/4" hole saw for them but that should be explained in the instructions. Be sure to use the right size hole saw as it is a precise fit.

A rather impressive looking variation of a toggle anchor but still only as strong as what it is attached to, ostensibly drywall.
Given the potential consequences of one of these failing I'd consider opening the wall and adding blocking where needed.
