Just starting the process of my build but the local big box has what seams to be a good sale on lights right now. Menards has in their ad "commercial grade" wraparounds for 29.99. 1: Are these any good? They are 4' and require 2 32W T8 lamps. 2: I really need help as far as quantity.
My garage is a 30 x 48 split into 2 sections. The front half is the entry and will have a 10' 8" ceiling. It is 30' x 22' deep. I was thinking 3 rows of 3 lights per row. Does this sound like it will be about right or is that to much/ not enough lighting? This section will be used for a wash bay and occasional woodworking.
The back half of the garage will be 30'W x 23' deep. The two sections are somewhat devided by a stairway in the middle. That is why I am missing 3' from the two sections. Anyway, the back area will have a 4 post lift and a social area for the guys as well as a restroom in one corner. It will also have scissor trusses so vaulted ceiling. This is where I get real confused. Any idea on how many or what kind of arrangement to take here?
