The paint the previous owner rolled onto the carport at my house has been worn down to bare concrete. It's time to reseal. I've been reading a lot about good, durable finishes for enclosed garages, but I've been having a hard time getting consistent answers about what to do about a carport exposed to the elements (it's roofed, but open on three sides). The carport also leads to a small, uncovered, smooth concrete slab deck that I'd like to finish at the same time.
What's the most durable finish for a situation like this? Epoxy? Acid stain?
If it's something I can do myself, great, but I'm also willing to pay a bit more for professionals to take care of it, if necessary. I'd rather pay more than have to be constantly redoing it.
