some people say T- handle is all you need, but what about when using torque wrench. i just wanna know if standard length will fit on everywhere.(since socket is thicker than bit size)

99% of the time standard length hex sockets will do the job just fine. I only had to get one extra long 6mm hex socket to tighten rear cylinder exhaust header bolts on a Suzuki V-Strom 650.

I've only had one case where I had to have a long bit. It was adding an aftermarket rear rack and two of the mounting points were tucked back inside the bodywork. I may have been able to make it work if I had a 1/4" socket and extension, but there was no way a 3/8" extension was going to fit. I ended up picking up the long bit set at harbor freight. For as little as you'll probably need to use them it seems to make sense to get the cheap long bits and spend a little more on the short ones which you'll use a lot more.

I have 2 R1s and a R6.....Shorties work just fine. I have the longer also, along with the T-handle. I use a hex with a screwdiver handle for the fairing bolts the most at trackdays. Any other kind of hex bolt, the shorty hex sockets work just fine.
