Mountable Power Strip

I am looking for a powerstrip (4 outlets) to mount on the front of my workbench to plug tools into. Most of the ones I have seen use cheesy mounting brackets or have inset holes in the back. I am looking for one that I can screw into the wood for a sturdy mount. Any suggestions?

"Stanley 31610 Surge Protector 9-Outlet Power Strip with 6-Foot Cord, Black"

It's 24.99 on Amazon. The package calls it 'Pro-Max 9.'' It's metal, black, and has mounts on either end that you can just run screws through. The strip itself is 37" long and has 9 grounded outlets spaced over it.

Since it's Stanley, I'd bet you could call around and find it locally.

I just got it, because I liked this (longer) one so much on my main bench.

The one in the picture is not a Stanley, though. It's a 'Prime.' But I'd wager they're made at the same factory.

The Stanley one on Amazon doesn't have the mounting tabs on the sides. I'm guessing it's only got the recessed ones in the back.

I was looking at these at HF, and noticed the metal used on that one was super soft and flexible. I don't think 2 mounting points (one at each end) would hold it securely enough depending on how tight the outlets were.

Thanks, some of these look good, but I was hoping it would be less than 24" total and I only need 4 outlets.

The Stanley one I just got has four mounting holes -- two on each end -- and plastic cap pieces to cover them. It also has cross-shaped inset holes in the back for that kind of mounting. You could also undo the screws that hold the carcass together and just put some self-tapping screws through the sheet metal.

I have this same Prime 9 outlet in my garage. It has a few mounting options. I picked mine up at Lowe's on sale for around $25. They also had a unit that the case was made from aluminum diamond skid. Looked real nice, too. It was around $35.

This is USA made by intermatic, its hospital grade, bought on ebay for $25 new in box shipped to my door, has a master switch on the end, and an additional switch for each circuit and is made of the utmost quality, I bought it for my service cart, buy my girlfriend got a hold of it before I got it mounted. Has flanges for permanent mounting.

13 1/2" x 3 3/4" outside dims including flange, is very well made.

I should add this does not provide any circuit protection, but is very well made, if you just need power and not worried about surge, circuit breakers or gcfi's.
