mounting lights

So this is my first post and it might be kind of lame but what are your guys thoughts on mounting your lights at an angle. I like to work on cars and the hood is alway creating shadows. I searched and there was a post about mounting the lights on the side of the cars and that makes since but what i was thinking was mounting 3 (4) bulb fixtures some where around a 45 degree angle on the back wall of the shop so when you pull the car in the lights would be just over your shoulders.

Shops dims are 24x31 pole barn 10ft ceiling with a 16ft door.

You will probably get shadows in a different direction, no matter what you do unless the light source is in front of you, there will be shadows. I had some in my old shop mounted on the walls and ceiling, it did a pretty good job, but I still needed a work light.

One of my neighbors had 4' fluorescents stood vertically in his walls that he used for doing body work. When combined with the overhead lights it worked pretty well. I've never seen angled lights though.

yeah i have seen it done in body shops. thats kind of where i came up with the ideal. it would be 3 at the 45 and then 3 in the middle and 3 closest to the shop door. So it wont be just these 3 lights in this shop there with be close to 14 lights. As it was said on here you cant see it from space you don't have enough light. I plan to have 2 or 3 under my loft and 2 above my loft.
