Good morning!

MSC25W gets you 25% off and free shipping 9/24 - 9 /26 for anyone with money left after Harry J. Epstein SK Days is over....

I usually blow this coupon on ACME bar stock, heavy fluids, etc.

Thanks but you missed the fine print that says on orders over $229.

Yep, MSC's minimums are usually relatively high but I agree $229 can be easy to hit in just quality cutting tools alone. Or a good time to grab things you've been thinking about like maybe a power drawbar or something. The free shipping should be eligible for the upgrade? so basically free overnight shipping provided the order isn't too heavy or bulky (a boxed power drawbar would probably not qualify for Next Day Air Saver at no additional cost)

How does MSC nut and bolt selection look? Are their prices competitive? Just looking for basic Grade 5 common SAE and some Metric.

I would love to do a bulk order of 2-3000 pieces, good idea?

Thanks in advance!

They used to do a Fastener Frenzy which was 35% off. I've stocked most of my bolt bin from MSC. Great selection. Now for the quantity you're talking you might find better prices from a local fastener house. It really depends on how much others want to work with you.

Even if you miss the sale dates don't be afraid to call MSC and ask for an account rep, they always have room to move on their prices.
