My First Garage

My wife and I just purchased our first house. Essentially brand new, we have just been doing a little painting in a few of the rooms to add some character. My wife has agreed to let me finish the garage to my liking (she is so amazing ).

This will showcase the flooring portion of my garage finishing. I have purchased one full kit and one touch up kit from Epoxy-Coat (thanks Christine, you made everything so easy!) to cover the 500 square feet garage.

But for now, one question:

Has anyone painted up the wall with epoxy coat? I have about 8" of exposed masonry block around the bottom of all of the walls that I was considering covering with epoxy to match the floor. I was also considering painting it with UGL drylok or something similar.....and then epoxying or matching the wall color....
Any suggestions as to a course of action for the block?

I can't remember your exact SF, you can either do a couple coats of the epoxy (you will have to mix it in small batches) or you can take a sample of the epoxy to the store and have them color match a paint for that area. Call me and we can discuss this in greater detail.

Got a call from lowe's telling me my epoxy coat was in!
Went and picked it up, but it didn't fit in the trunk!?!? So we strapped it in the back seat....

That's all for now, I am planning on coating the floor next week and starting to move stuff in next weekend....

Anyone have any good tips or tricks for epoxy install?????
