My Little Getaway...

I have been a member since summer of 05 but haven't posted much. I finally got some pictures of my getaway and thought I would share. It's not real big (24x30) but it is better than nothing. I have been working on the inside since Jan. and trying to get it finished. When we bought the house 6 years ago, it was 4 years old and the garage had 1 20amp 110 circuit running to it. There were 3 shop lights and 9 outlets, two of those for the garage door openers. I have upgraded to 100 amp service and I am putting in insulation and hanging drywall. I am in no hurry so it is only about half done. Maybe when the weather gets a bit warmer things will speed up.

As you can see, one side gets junked up while the other is worked on. This is all work in progress so hopefully I will get it finished in the next couple months.

Very nice! I'm in the process of redoing my garage too... I used to have a ton of open shelves all over the place, but I just took them down and am looking for a tall storage cabinet (first choice) or some old kitchen cabinets (second choice) that I can paint an hang up. IMO, open shelves just get dirty and stuff shoved on them anywhere. If you have to go through the trouble of opening a door to put something away, you're more likely to put it where it belongs.
