So I have been a H.A.M.B. for a long time. I have lurked here for a bit and last year bought my first house with a two car garage. Sweet!!!!! then I see all the crazy stuff that you guys are doing and now I dont feel as abnormal anymore.

I use my garage as a shop for mostly Automotive work. but I have recently had an urge to build some furniture out of wood. so we'll see where that goes. I do a bit of mechanical work on the side and have a 1949 Chevy fleetline project that should be in the garage here in a few weeks.

I love all the Ideas here and it has inspired me to be a lot more creative with organizing and building a functional garage. Jack olsen is a huge inspiration. With all the posts I have read of his I feel like I know him and think on the same level.

I will post some pictures of all the junk soon....

Eric

Welcome.

You can always find room for some woodworking. My first house had a garage that was about 10x15 and I made some pretty nice furniture in there. All I had was a small-ish table saw and a POS taiwanese 8" table top drill press... that and some hand tools and you're off.

Start with some tables...
