good to see another sunlite fan, these things are great in the field :shocking:

As mentioned earlier Snap-on carries sunlite flashlights and also have a blue-point version which is the same size but slightly brighter. I bought it to replace the Snap-on (innova) light I had that took pricey camera batteries and I love it. Everything is warrantied except the batteries which are AAA and our parts dept carry for free. I love the size of it, it's slimmer than my previous light so it fits more comfortable in my pocket and it can really take a beating. I think if I remember correctly is was only around 40 bucks, it has paid for itself now that I'm not buying camera batteries every month.

This single A battery light for $11(shipped) will blow your maglite away in every way at about half the size.

This one for $17 runs on 2xAA or 1xCR123's which are available as rechargeable lithium's.

If your browse that site, you can find just about any LED flashlight configuration to fit your needs. The quality for the price is simply amazing--you'll be blown away at what you get for the money.

I'm sure the Stinger's are great lights, but frankly they're way overpriced for the performance. The output is no better than the lights above, and the battery life is extremely poor. No one at the flashlight forums get's excited about them, and those guys take their lights very seriously.

If you don't mind buying from China, you can get 4-10 lights for the price of one Stinger. The LED's in any light are probably made in the same Chinese factory anyway.
